Our Stance on Open Source and Fan Creations
Friday Night Funkin’ is fundamentally an open-source game, which encourages a vibrant community of modders to build upon its code and assets. The mods hosted on FNF MOB are fan-made creations intended to expand the reach of these games by making them accessible on web browsers for mobile and PC users. We always strive to credit the original mod creators and provide links to their official release pages.
Content Removal Request
We do not claim ownership of the assets (art, music, code) used in the mods. If you are the original creator, artist, or copyright holder of a specific mod or asset featured on FNF MOB, and you do not wish for your work to be hosted as a playable web version on our platform, we will honor your request immediately and without dispute.
How to Request a Takedown:
If you want your mod or assets removed, please send an email to private@fnfmob.com with the following information:
- The exact URL(s) on FNF MOB where the content is hosted.
- A link to your original work (e.g., your GameBanana profile, GitHub repository, or Twitter account) to verify your identity as the creator.
- A brief statement requesting the removal.
Upon receiving a valid request from the verified creator, the specified content will be permanently removed from our servers within 24 to 48 hours.
